Ninna-ji Temple

'Ninnaji Temple', the head temple of Omuro school of Shingon sect was founded by the 59th Emperor Uda. It has deep connection with imperial family, since they have been chief priest until Meiji period. The highlights are 'Kondo' , built in the style of imperial court, and 'Niomon gate', one of the three great gates of Kyoto.
