Kamigamo Shrine
The official name of the shrine is Kamowakeikazuchi Shrine. It is also known as Kamo-sha along with Shimogamo Shrine and is famous for the "Aoi Festival", which is a springtime ritual in Kyoto. It is a strong ally of women with various benefits such as marriage, fertility and childbirth. It is said that Murasaki Shikibu also continued to go to this shrine.
