Shimogamo shrine
Shimogamo Shrine is said to be the oldest shrine in Kyoto. There are 55 shrines that are national treasures and important cultural assets, and they are registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In recent years, it has become a popular power spot for women as it is said to be a place where they can pray for beauty as well as for a marriage contract and a safe birth.
