Notice of Rebranding to Charichari (Effective April 1, 2026)

Thank you for your continued use of kotobike.

We are pleased to announce that kotobike will be rebranded as “Charichari” starting Wednesday, April 1, 2026, to further enhance our service. We kindly ask that you use the Charichari service and app going forward. To use Charichari, you will need to download the Charichari app and register for a new account.

Please note that due to this rebranding, kotobike will cease service on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. We sincerely thank all our customers for their patronage over the years.

【kotobike Service Termination】
  • The kotobike app will no longer be available after Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
  • Due to the service termination, monthly members will not be charged for April or subsequent months.
【Usage After Wednesday, April 1, 2026】
  • From Wednesday, April 1, 2026, services will be provided under the “Charichari” brand.
  • Please use the Charichari service and app starting April 1. To use Charichari, you must download the Charichari app and register for a new membership.

【Request Regarding Email Settings (@charichari.co.jp)】

Future notifications may be sent from the Charichari (@charichari.co.jp) domain.
To prevent these emails from being blocked by spam filters or rejection settings, please confirm the following in advance:

  • Whether your settings allow receipt of emails from @charichari.co.jp
  • Whether emails are being automatically filtered into your spam folder
  • If using carrier email, please check your settings to allow receipt of emails from “@charichari.co.jp”

*Methods for adjusting settings vary depending on your email service (mobile carrier, email app, etc.).

【Regarding Bike Replacement Work Starting Mid-March (Temporary Reduction/Mixing of Bike Models)】

Starting mid-March 2026, we will sequentially implement bike replacement work.
During this work period, the following situations may occur due to operational circumstances:

  • The number of operational bicycles may temporarily decrease, potentially making usage more difficult than usual.
  • Kotobike and Charichari bicycles may be mixed at ports.

*During the March replacement period, Charichari bicycles may be placed at Kotobike ports. However, Charichari bicycles cannot be used during March.

*Starting in April, kotobike vehicles may be placed at ChariChari ports, but these kotobike vehicles will not be available for use after April.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our users. We kindly ask for your understanding as we strive to ensure a safe and smooth transition.
We will continue to work diligently to further improve our service and appreciate your continued patronage.
